How teachers can help us move towards the 21st century

We think that teachers can give us a chance at new technology to study as we are in the 21st century. Teachers have a big part in our learning so why not have fun and be educated.

There are a lot of ways to learn but the idea is which one will help students learn and even teachers as it will be easier for teachers to make the lesson plan. I think that if students are allowed to use technology to learn, fewer students will want to miss class out and rather look forward to class. Students would rather learn from computer rather from book because while you are on the computer you are more active.

For example, if everyone has a computer and/or laptops at school students would not have to carry around heavy books and teachers would not have to stand at the front and write as whatever they write would appear on the students screen. All these normal books we have would be on the computer so students can have a quicker way to access topics in a particular subject.

Another example is that teachers can prepare us out of schools by giving us extra homework regarding the 21st century. For example each student will be given a CD which they can take home to their computer. This CD would install a program for them. This program would allow teachers to send homework through this, so students can access the homework from home without them having to take books home. This would also be able give students a chance to revise as it will have books they use in class on the computer.

I think that teachers can prepare us for the 21st century by letting us look around the latest gadgets that will appear on the media for example; windows 7 touch screen feature and the apple iPod and many more. Teachers can prepare us by giving us fun but also educated lessons which will help us towards the 21st century. This new technology will also help the environment as less trees would be cut down to make paper. We hope that this has persuaded you that technology would be better for us in the 21st century.
