Ice bergs melting,
sea level rising,
flooding of islands,

Oh! Singapore!
Our sunny island
in the blue sea.
What causes this?

Global warming!
Who causes this?
We – human beings!
For development,
people cut down forests,
build flats and factories,
drive vehicles everywhere,
increasing greenhouse gases,
especially carbon dioxide.

Singapore is now too hot and too rainy,
all because of global warming.

It’s called global warming.
It’s real and time is ticking.
Ice caps are melting.
And sea levels are rising.

Singapore - the Little Red Dot.
Will soon never be spotted.
Drowned six metres below.
Under the deep blue sea.

Singapore is getting warmer.
Hurry, our fate is in our hands.
Do something quick,
or we’ll sink like quicksand
Washed away from our Earth
All because of global warming

Save our Earth.
Our Earth is sick!
Deserts are getting hotter!
Other areas are getting wetter!
Recycle, re-use and reduce.
Recycle the use of paper.
Re-use what you can.
Reduce the use of energy.
Reduce the cutting of trees.

We should protect it.
Attitudes must be changed

Why do they cut the trees?
Why do factories give out carbon dioxide
causing global warming?

and reduce global warming
