It’s a real hot day
The days are getting hotter and hotter
I look around my neighbourhood

Cars and buses passing by
Taxis, motor bicycles and lorries, too
And factories in the distant
All emitting carbon dioxide

I learnt in school
That this gas traps heat
Heating up our Earth
I also learnt
That we all have to do our part
To reduce global warming.
