We are students from Mount Notre Dame High School, in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Lately, we have been studying a unit involving American addiction to oil. We viewed a program by Thomas Friedman by the same name. We have also been reading articles about alternate fuel sources, as well as what countries are doing worldwide to clean the environment. We have also studied problems in Africa, especially about the consequences of mining blood diamonds and producing oil.
