How to save our planet

Our solar system contains eight planets. They are Mercury, which is the closest planet to the sun and eighth largest. Venus is the second planet from the sun and the sixth largest. Our planet, Earth, is the third planet from the sun and the fifth largest. Mars is the fourth planet from the sun and the seventh largest. Jupiter is the fifth planet from the sun and by far the largest. Uranus is the seventh planet from the sun and Neptune is the eighth planet from the sun. There is also Pluto, which was known as the ninth planet, but which is not viewed as a planet any longer.
It is believed that there is life only on one planet, which is Earth. Our planet Earth is made up of seventy per cent water and thirty per cent land.
Nowadays, the water and the land are polluted in many ways. The dust from factories pollutes the air and also produces acid rain, which causes harm to the fish in lakes. Trout and smallmouth bass have trouble reproducing at a pH of six, which is pretty acidic. Some clams and snails can't survive at all. You can see how bad it is for our environment and Earth. Sometimes garbage is found on roads or is thrown in rivers or lakes, which pollutes the environment too. There are about five hundred million automobiles on the planet, burning an average of two gallons of fuel a day. Each gallon releases twenty pounds of carbon dioxide.
There are many ways we can stop these things. We can bury our garbage underground instead of having it lying around everywhere. Instead of throwing away cans, we can also put them in recycling bins to be recycled. We should also use less electricity. Do you know that an air conditioner uses 10 times more energy than a fan; therefore it creates 10 times the pollutants.
So help your planet to be neat, clean and safe.
