We should have global peace!

Everyone knows that we need global peace, though the question is why? Well, we need global peace because if we don't have any peace then the world is going to become a mess. People would lose their homes and jobs. Some children are not educated because their parents don't have enough money to pay their fees, so when they grow up they won't be educated and they might start fighting in wars. We should show our children that war is not the answer to everything but that global peace is.

What is a war? A war is when countries or people fight against each other. It sometimes happens that one country will put a bomb in another country. When they put bombs in the other countries it causes a lot of pollution and it is very hard for the people that are not taking part in the war. This is because the air is full of smoke, which makes it very hard for you to breathe.

A lot of people are dying, and not only those that are taking part in the wars but also those that are not taking part in the wars. Some children don't have parents, maybe because their parents have been killed. A lot of people are starving and suffering. Do you know how many children are dying in the wars? Well, out of all the people that die in the wars almost two-thirds are children. Just imagine how many children that is!

Global peace is peace between countries and people. Countries and people shouldn't fight against each other. There are a lot of countries that are fighting against each other. These include: America and Iraq; America and Afghanistan; and Israel and Palestine. There are also different groups within a country that fight against one another. These include: Sri Lanka, Thailand, India, Indonesia and Iraq.

If there is no global peace then a lot of people will die, including children. When there are wars the Earth gets polluted and buildings, such as, houses or banks, can get destroyed and anything else can happen.

Some people in the past have tried to make global peace. These include Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Martin Luther King Jr. We should all follow their example.

We can make global peace between countries and people by helping each other and getting along with each other. We should think about others before thinking about ourselves. If no one tries to make global peace then the world will be full of kidnapers, murderers and so on. If we do try and do something about the wars then the world would be more peaceful, and children would be educated and could go to school. Our lives would improve greatly if we had global peace.

If we use the money that is being used to buy weapons then we could build more and better schools for the children and hospitals to help those that are sick.
