Wars: The robbers of peace
Maharaja Man Singh Vidyalaya
India
When unsolved is an argument,
Peace should be the amendment.
But where compromising has no room,
Wars occur, leading lives to gloom.
But wars are nobody's ally,
Even the winner's trust they defy.
They devour lives from each side,
And lives perish like sand by a tide.
To wage a war we need resources,
Of wars, which are sometimes sources.
To capture gold, coal or oil,
A country undergoes all this toil.
But wars have after effects,
Which are full of defects.
They gobble up resources aplenty,
Leaving none for either country.
If we flick the pages of history,
We will discover a scary mystery.
Each case will have painful sights,
Expressions of agony and also of fight.
First lets see what Hitler did decide,
Nothing but an inhuman genocide.
He killed almost every Jew,
Traces of humanity were very few.
And the bombings of Nagasaki and Hiroshima,
Were as dreadful and murderous like a puma.
People melted as quickly as ice,
It was indeed Satan in disguise.
The World Wars, both of them,
The whole world did condemn.
So many resources were spent,
Taking us away from development.
Let us sit in a time machine,
And witness a more ancient scene.
It is the battle of Troy,
Which also didn't give any joy.
So wars for greed never did aid,
And the progress always did fade.
And so it will be in the future,
Wars will devour every creature.
But yes indeed, wars should be waged,
Against terrorism, and also AIDS.
Wars should be waged for keeping us apiece,
And also for maintaining a global peace.
