We must strive for peace

Surbhi

Peace is a state of harmony and the absence of hostility. In other words, peace is the opposite of war. It can also be described as a relationship between any parties characterised by respect, justice, and goodwill.

Peace pre-empts war! Peace is patriotic! We have many international wars, which are leading to many fights and disturbances among different countries. Terrorism is increasing day by day. If we want to stop these wars and improve the relationships between different countries then we must strive for peace.

Only peace can stop violence. So, to live in peace we have to maintain peace because humans can only live happily when they maintain peace. If there is no peace on Earth, no one will be able to live happily and there will be fights and wars and sorrows. People would start killing other people and soon their life would be over!

'Peace is the final frontier' and this is the right time when we should skip these wars and should start peace! Even if world peace is unachievable, this does not imply that striving for it is not a worthy goal. People have to strive and make it attainable despite being told it as unattainable!

We have to speak now or we have to be ready to lose peace forever! The most suitable progress toward world peace is a step-by-step improvement of current processes. Doing one more peaceful thing today than one has previously done is a truly attainable goal. Also, all people would benefit by taking a long look at history and learning the triggers of armed conflict. In each war, which has occurred since the beginning of time, many of the same lessons can be found. Unfortunately, as a whole, our species is slow to learn each of those lessons. But we should also remember that 'There's no "time's up" for peace!' and blessed are the ones who are the peacemakers! We must evolve and work for a nonviolent future!
