Poem 1: Do you care?

Are you a global citizen?
Do you care for the world?
Because it's your only home,
The only one you’ve got.
Not two, not three, not four.
The one and only!

To be a global citizen
You cherish and protect the world:
You share, get along with others,
Respect and care for them,
And heed nature.
The world is a web,
Which links everything on this planet together.

To protect it from man-made disasters
Reuse, reduce and recycle:
Reuse containers,
Reduce the amount of electricity,
Recycle clothes, cans and paper.

Treat the world the way you like to be treated.

Poem 2: Global citizens

Global citizen
Learning to get along
Only home
Borders and boundaries don't exist
All in it together
Looking after everything.

Connected in a web
In one and only home
To see a world without borders or boundaries!
Interactive communication
Zones full of careless people
Equal human rights
Neighbours to share with
Surely you would have to treat others the way you would like to be treated!

Take action now! The world is in your hands!

We tried to send a big message saying that the world is your home and that, unless you care for it and the nature that lives on it, we will be doomed!
