ACEL FastNews is the most recent service provided, at no cost, for members of the Australian Council for Educational Leaders and other interested educators. An online weekly news brief, ACEL FastNews is emailed to members and interested colleagues every Tuesday and Friday (until mid-December each year, resuming at the beginning of the following school year.) Each issue of ACEL FastNews comprises 10-15 electronic links to current education news from Australian and international newspapers. Each link is preceded by one or two sentences, succinctly describing the news that can be accessed from that link. Links are currently for the day of issue and will remain active only at the discretion of the various newspapers. An ‘ACEL Noticeboard’ section will continually update members on leadership events and programs that are occurring within Australia and throughout the world. Each issue of ACEL FastNews will feature a useful reflective quote that relates directly or indirectly, to education, children or leadership. A search facility on the ACEL FastNews website will enable readers to access an archive of past issues. ACEL FastNews is produced by FastText, the new e-news division of CyberText. |
